About
My work bridges the gap between fashion and art. With a degree in Visual Arts, my work is conceptually based with strong overtones of fashion and design. I draw inspiration from all around me – people, places, fashion and art, it is my own emotional response to these things which brings the work to life.
In my creative process, I start with an idea of what I want to convey to my audience, then create the form to suit my personal style, so it becomes something I would enjoy wearing: a piece both mentally and visually pleasing.
I like to think of my jewellery continuing its journey with its new owner – they will bring their own meaning to the piece by how they wear it and what it means to them.
Hi Emma Grace my name is Chris Gniel.
Just a short note to say I saw you on TV the other night and enjoyed watching your segment on your jewellery collection . Especially liking your bird collection. These pieces reminded me of the “blue birds” which my mother used to wear.
I admire what you have done with your creative artistic flair good on you , keep up the good work!
